Happy to see my country with a cyclechic attitude.

By the way, that photo was taken on the Bloor Viaduct in Toronto which crosses over the Don Valley. The Don Valley also has an expressway on it and the Don River. The metal structure is something to restrain jumpers from leaping to their death from the 100 metre high bridge - so naturally the politicians called it "the luminous veil" so as to soften it's purpose.

Needless to say; those prone to jumping found other bridges and subway stops to be good alternates for their needs.

What a nasty, crude way to speak about people in trouble. I'm sorry I saw it. Not cool.

Lovely, happy, flowery yellow. That's how we do it in North America :)

Just wanted to "weigh in" with a picture from an unlikely place ( in some people's minds): Iceland.

OK the picture perhaps can not compete , regarding the Chic-factor, but it should get extra points for being from the middle of the north Atlantic, and additionally for depicting a government minister, no less ! (Minster for education and culture)

The picture was taking during the protracted "political year" in the early summer of 2009.
