Gone Already...

Lost September #3
It feels like ages ago, but my calendar tells me that september is only two months away.
Lost September #2
We tend to curse this rapid change of season, but perhaps there is something deep inside us, that knows that this is how it should be. I don´t know.

You don't appreciate something until it's gone, even if for a couple of months...

I really noticed it tonight. The two neighborhoods I pass through to get home in the evening were completely blacked out through all of rush hour. It was pitch black! I love the seasons, but I love the light and will welcome its return.

The thing that stikes me about this picture is how beautiful the lady in blue is. Natural and graceful, whatever her age. So Scandinavian!

oh, not the old "my winter is harsher than yours" chestnut. i was hoping we'd avoid that this year.

i spent several years living in calgary. i know snow.

snow is snow. cold is cold. try cycling at a copenhagen -5 and with a wind at 25-20 m/second and you'll feel at home.
