i LOVE the first bike

any idea of what make it is?

i can't actually see the brand, but it looks like a standard generic Danish bike, available at any bike shop or supermarket.

You wouldn't happen to know if they sell something similar to the first bike in Australia?

Peter of PS Bikes in Melbourne sells Velorbis, who have the very lovely Victoria bicycle, similar - and better - than the one pictured.

Then there is Lucy in Sydney who sells these vintage bikes

It is all so civilised in those photographs, it makes the cities in Australia look like parts of the Third World... Developing World, I mean.
Thanks for the beautiful images.
PS A white commuter, that's a first!!

I love this site but I cannot imagine what it is biking in the snow. My work is biking in lovely cork trees ridden back roads (check what I do in http:www.terracottajourneys.com ) Cheers,

white bikes are not uncommon here.

biking in the snow is the same as anything else. going straight is the same and you just slow down a bit more when turning.
