Orange You Glad I Posted This?

She had stopped for a car, in the middle of a cheerful mobile phone conversation, and had to get rolling again. That's why homo sapiens have elbows. She got back up to speed without even blinking. Don't try this outside of Copenhagen or Amsterdam. :-)
Blue on Blue Shopping
A lesser-known drawback to a Copenhagen cycling life. You have to go out of your way to find shops that put their goods in coloured bags that match your bicycle. But the good news is, you get to shop more!

Here's a bit of Cycle Chic from Minnpost.com - in Minnesota, USA. An interview with Anna Lee who is Cycle chic hero for riding in heels and dresses.

"Look — that lady's bicycling in heels," said a middle-aged guy as he watched Lee pedal in ruby-red pumps.
Go Anna Go!

I actually got laughed at as I rode to work today in a shirt and tie with pinstriped slacks on my Electra Amsterdam. I don't know if it was because it was wet out, or because he couldn't believe I didn't have lycra on... who knows :)

I might also mention I arrived to work completely dry and sweat-free :)

Hi there,
Just to let you know that today one of Portugal most cyclabe cities, Aveiro, will have a fashion show with bicycles. It is called Fashion and Bikes. All the bikes are the work of a portuguese bike art designer called Zamaro. He designed bikes for the spanish royal family, bikes for the vitor baia foundation that were sold for raising founds for social projects and he also designed BUTE (a bike for students of Braga and Oporto Universities in Portugal).
The news is in Portuguese but you can see the poster and the work of Zmaro in the following links:

very glad.

beautiful images.

you're right - don't try this outside amsterdam or copenhage... because in the rest of the world using a mobile phone on a bike in traffic is something to be ashamed of.
