Cycle Chic in Sydney, France, Rome and the USA

Sydney Cycle Chic
Here's a great shot of cycle chic down under from Lucy. Thanks for sending it along to us. Lucy restores vintage bikes and sells them on Australian e-Bay, if anyone is interested.

time to go for a ride
A wonderful shot from France from La vie en rose on flickr.

And here's a spot of cycle chic in Rome from Cappanelle.

CYCLE CHIC FOR KIDS
Cycle Chic for Kids in Colorado, USA
Here's a shot from Carl in Colorado. Thanks for thinking of us!
"This is my daughter just after she learned to “do it myself daddy!” Of course, if you are going to ride around the neighborhood, you MUST wear pink and more pink and knee high fuzzy boots. I guess I’ll have to get her a new bike now. (I bet it will be pink.)
I really enjoy your site. Keep up the great work. Carl."

Daddy's Bike
And here's my boy, trying out Daddy's bike.

Sadly seeing the first kid shot, the first thing that came to my mind was... "That picture is from the US".

Stupid SUV's.

i know what you mean, but the kid is riding and the dad who took the photo loves riding and THAT'S the important thing.

I have noticed the extremely tall handlebar stems on the bikes I see such as yours, they aren't available in the USA, so far as I know. Can you tell us the make and model of the stem and the handlebars as well?
Thanks, Jon

hey jon,
sorry... but i have no idea... i just ride 'em! :-)

my bike [with my son on board] is a Velorbis Scrap Deluxe and the handlebars come with it.

There is a Danish bike parts website that sells them for $20 here. The website is in Danish. No idea if they fit your bike, but you can try and ask them. Just write in English.

Your son is adorable. I bet he's a heartbreaker at preschool!

Love how your little guy's legs are just hanging in mid air. Not that it seems to worry him in the slightest. He's focussed FORWARD.
