At the point where the separated bike lane reaches an intersection a lovely ocean of blue opens up on which the bikes can sail unhindered to the other side, enjoying their status as equal partners in the traffic equation. Cars wishing to turn left must, of course, stop to give bikes the right of way.
There is little hostility between the cars and the bikes. The people in the cars are, after all, cyclists too.
It's cooler these days. The jackets are getting longer, the boots getting higher... but elegance in Copenhagen remains unchanged.
