They are there t...@Eva, this is not a lane as such.
They are there to mark where the bikes will pass, in the intersection.
If you look at the google-maps view, you can see that there's a lane on each side of the intersection, and a blue marking inbetween. Due south is a painted bike-only lane.
http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Rubinsteinsvej+34,+2450,+Copenhagen,+Denmark&ll=55.675236,12.562003&spn=0.001125,0.002411&t=h&z=19

@Jim Baross, following US traffic regulations in other countries will get you honked at. You shouldn't be surprised at that.
(but yes, the blue line could be seen as bike jail, unless you're turning)Williamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15596258620117242843noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2210935752673952814.post-89615125451567474522010-04-11T13:52:54.341+02:002010-04-11T13:52:54.341+02:00Excellent shot !Excellent shot !hebdenjoyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12696906471070274307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2210935752673952814.post-49169434801477199222010-04-11T11:16:09.292+02:002010-04-11T11:16:09.292+02:00Very nice picture, as always!
