Sisters Doin' It For Themselves

bike sister
Yes, yes, we cycle about feeling chic'er than thou, off to cafés and dates and parties oh my. Chic, however, is undefinable. Chic in Copenhagen may be chic in Sevilla, and vice versa, but farther afield chic has other cultural definitions.

It's high time we blogged some chic photos from other bicycle cultures, of sisters doin' it for themselves. As they should and as they have since the dawn of the bicycle. Above is a Sister from the good people at Krakow Cycle Chic.
Pregnant in Red
Classy and pregnant. Shot taken by Flickr user Meanest Indian.

This is just splendid, taken by Flickr user Rick Elkin.

Beautiful people on beautiful bicycles.

Hello

First of all, I love your website and your pictures, they make me envy not live in a city like yours every day :)

As a comment, I must say that I really dislike that you took out the full text from the RSS. Granted, it is your right, and you wish to bring people to the website and to see your ads, but I really think it will prevent people of seeing your pictures.

In my case I rarely follow the links on my RSS reader unless the title and the introductory text are really appealing, because I have 500+ new items a day, and I think that is the case for a lot of people. You should think of using advertising in the news feed so you could share your photography and receive some revenue through every medium. For examples you could look at the feed of engadget or techcrunch.

I hope you don't take the wrong way this little bit of critizism. Congratulations for your website and your wonderful work.

Felipe

I really like this post, Mikael! Those little girls reading on the back is fantastic! And of course, you gotta go with the nun every time.

I am in agreement with the first commenter (Le Pipex) regarding the change in the RSS. I too rarely click through, and I don't want to miss your wonderful photos! Sure, it is your choice, but my vote is for you to put it back to the old way.
