Love visiting your blog. I spent two months in Copenhagen in 96 when it was the European City of Culture. I took my bike naturally - all the way from West Wales and had a marvellous time- now I live in another bike friendly country (the NL). More power to your pedals in 2009.

I think wearing my peacoat in my bicycle elicited a few smiles the other day. The kind of smile that says, "Hey, you're wearing a peacoat AND riding a bicycle! Fancy that, how charming."
I'm workin' on these silly Americans.

i bike in a peacoat in seattle; most looks i receive are concerned and judgemental. esp. from the day-glo racers who, i think, only then realize how ridiculous they look. albeit safe.
